I dropped by today and found a nice coffee bar with free wifi where you can order espresso/coffee or iced coffee along with some basic fresh bakery items. I had an iced coffee and picked up some beans to go. The iced coffee with a little shot of simple syrup was nice and strong, super refreshing in the heat.
The staff is friendly and inviting. It was fun to chat and learn more about coffee on Grenada. The owner was there today and explained that they had been around for awhile as a distributor, but recently opened their cafe/retail outlet a few weeks ago.
Spice Isle imports single origin coffees and makes their own roasts and blends. You can buy any of their coffees whole bean or ground how you want it in 8oz, 12oz, and 1 lb sizes. They also sell iced coffee concentrate. On the back wall they have Moka pots and french presses for sale.
Fresh Coffee done right. Closest thing I've found to the local coffee shop/roaster combos Im used to frequenting in the States. Worth checking out.
