::We visited as a group of 5 at Maca Bana for 3 nights, and our reservation process was seamless. They were accommodative enough to help us get an additional room when we had an extra guest who made a last minute reservation. The property itself is conveniently located about 7 minutes away from the airport. The staff, especially Nickson/Nexon is just amazing. I believe it's a family run business and they do an amazing job at maintaining the overall property. It pains me to give them 3 stars, but that is primarily because we had reserved the Mango Villa, specifically because of it's view and we wanted to experience hanging out with friends, chilling in the Jacuzzi in the evening (drinking), admiring the amazing ocean views. Sadly, the Jacuzzi wasn't working for the duration of our stay (something to do with power/transformer). I wish the management would have either given us a discount OR could have arranged for an alternative room. In all fairness, we did not ask for a discount, because I personally try to avoid such conversations as it ruins my vacay mood, and so expected this message to come from the management. Regardless, cannot take away the amazing hospitality and service we got from the Maca Bana team, so thanks for that! Suggestion to future tourists - please confirm all the equipment is working in your room, especially if you reserved it for the view etc.

::Amazing Location with a terrific view , fantastic and very friendly staff , very nice villas and super good food in the Aquarium restaurant. Thanks again to all the maca bana team ( Joanne and Nickson ) and to Uli (the owner of Aquarium restaurant) to make our honey moon incredible !! Definteltely we will come back soon!

::5 Star Resort....did not deliver...rooms were large and open with many upgrades...but....water pressure was unreliable and our unit called "Cherry" has several electrical issues. A few other issues to note: Very steep hill down from units to the restaurant and beach...which is not a problem unless you are disabled or cant walk very far. A/C is only available in bedrooms only. Resort is high on a hill and has a beautiful view.
